Early Testing in ICU Patients

This work has been used to evaluate the feasibility of wearable cardiac imaging in a real clinical environment and to inform the continued development of the device, imaging workflow and analysis platform.
These findings represent early-stage clinical and technical evaluation. They should not be interpreted as evidence of commercial availability, regulatory clearance or definitive clinical efficacy.
AI-Based Cardiac Pressure Estimation
5.6 mmHg reported error in a small held-out cohort.
Early model development has explored whether ultrasound imaging information can be used to estimate clinically relevant cardiac measurements.
In a small held-out cohort of 47 patients, the model reported an error of 5.6 mmHg for the evaluated pressure-estimation task.
The reported cohort was limited primarily to patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, or HFrEF, defined in the study context as LVEF of 40% or below.
The result was obtained from a small held-out research cohort and requires validation in larger, more diverse and prospective patient populations.

Post-Discharge Monitoring
The period after hospital discharge is a vulnerable time for many heart failure patients. Sonologi is exploring how continuous imaging could extend cardiac visibility beyond the hospital.
